Thanx for that FF, I've took a screenshot of the cliff.

So if I see a baby turtle walking away from the sea, what do I do?? Water it? Steer it in the right direction?

If it's dark then take it down to the waters edge and face it towards the sea, and guide it in . If it's day time, I'd ask the hotel for a bucket, put it jen, keep it cool and damp and then wait till dusk and do the same as above,

im no expert but released enough to have a little clue .

To be fair, they haven't got a clue what we do with our lives either. Just saying. :)

I have a lovely mental image now of a group of turtles making a documentary on people, sneaking around and filming us going to the supermarket and the pub :)

That's what you think. They have a deep sea science lab where they monitor our movements from chips inserted into our toes when we go paddling.

I've heard tell of this. Apparently if you piss in the sea while you are swimming it fucks up all their statistics.

Sounds legit.

Managed to make the most of the sunshine this evening, nice 50km on the bike then catching up with weightlifting and rugby from the Olympics! Happy days.

Nice to have something to focus on that doesn't involve worrying about T-day!

50km on the bike?! I get tired driving that distance.

I was about to say the same thing!!! Quark is mental!!!

I don't think the bike is the strongest indicator of that!

Out on a summer's evening for a couple of hours, lovely way to make the most of the weather!

Anyhoo, excitement looms.  Nearly the weekend, and off to that there London after work tomorrow to see Louis CK at Wembley.  Woop!  Hope everyone's having a good week :)

@Funkyfairy! the parents were up last night... Can you believe their best mates are on a Caribbean cruise and docked in Barbados for 3 days over my 40th... So I suggested we meet at the Cliff. Looked at the prices, $269BDS per person for a 2 course meal. That's £100 per person. My stepdad said we've spent over 10k to eat so no way is he paying that haha! Looks like we aren't going to the cliff. Thanx for the tip tho

The best I managed last night was a 15 minute walk to the shop! :)

Ooh have a good time in That There London, are you staying over or trekking back? I tend to stay over when I go now, saves running for the train (or driving!)!

Heading home.  Not going to be a massively late one and we're leaving the car at Gatwick so easy enough to get back.  Plus I'm not driving, so I get to have a beer!

OMG seriously was not that expensive when I went (been twice) - we were also all incl , was well worth the price we paid, but deary me there is no way we paid that much - mind you first time was 12 years ago and the second probably 8 years ago and its got a lot better known since then ... nope I don;t think I'd pay that either for any two courses !

I am pleased you didn't think we are just being tight haha! The pictures looked lovely too. I need to find somewhere for us to meet that isn't as expensive. The cliff was perfect too as its half way

Hello Curlygirl. I take it that you use Trip Advisor when planning somewhere to eat in far off climes? If you don't do so then I'd advise giving it a whirl. Watch out for the fake reports though. I love looking at places to go before I travel abroad.

Mum going for my first run in 2 years tomorrow. I'm nervous! It's gonna hurt. I used to love running back in the day

Can't believe you're getting your mum to do your exercise for you CG. Proper lazy is that ;)

We generally ignore the really bad reviews as well, unless there are enough to warrant a read. Went to an amazing restaurant in Jamaica, on the cliffs facing the sunset, wonderful food, just perfect. And some people had given it one star reviews for having plastic chairs and not nice enough cutlery. Twats.

I read the Vietnam reviews and forum before I went there. The banditry that goes on there is incredible - well it was a fair few years ago when I went there.
