The walk from the car parks to campsite?

Hey guys, first time going to Vfest this year with my buddies and we want to know how far the walk is from car parks to the campsites?

I have seen a map from last year and gold looks like its the closest one but how far roughly is the walk? Is it close enough to do two trips back to the car for the stuff?

Hiya, been to V twice, first time didn't park up till around 2 in the afternoon and got dumped in a car park that was an hours walk from the camp sites. Last time got to the car park by 8 am and yes it's very close to gold campsite, only 10 minute walk at most but on the downside gold is a 30 Min walk from the Arena entrance.

The easiest walk is from the South 4 or 5 car parks, unfortunately you get very little say in which car park you end up in though.

Depends which way you're coming from, but I usually join the A5 from junction 3 of the M54 and stay in the right hand lane. There's a right turn just after the Bell Inn (or Bell End as it's affectionately become known by my group). If the steward directs you down that road you are laughing. I've aimed to join the A5 queue around 8/9am and this route has worked for me 3 of the 5 times I've been.

The twice it didn't work out I was much later, around 11am.

It's a 10 min walk from South 4/5. I usually camp in green (through the entrance and turn left) and it's around a 15 min walk to the arena.

It's a bit of a trek from the other car parks. Just get yourself a good trolley/sacktruck and you'll be fine.

Thanks guys, we cant go untill 2pm so looks like im not going to get to the car park i want.

Ohh well ive got myself a trolley and a good rucksack so hopefully it will only be one journey
