Shuttle bus and press camping help please!

Hi so me and 3 others may have press tickets for leeds and have a few questions if anyone can help?

We are getting a train from chesterfield to leeds and arriving at the station at about 10.15am - is it worth buying shuttle bus tickets in advance or not? We also want to be getting a bus back about 10am on the monday - how long does this take? I can't seem to find the timetable for the monday if anyone can find it for me! How long do people usually queue for for a bus?

I've heard there is sometimes a donation - will this be true on the press pass and how much is it usually? Is it mandatory?

How far is the shuttle bus drop off point from the entrance and press camping area, and how do we pick tickets up as press? Also, what is in the press area and how soon does the camping fill up?

Thanks!

Hi, You have the timetable for the busses now so your fine. you don't need to buy a bus ticket in advance. you can but its not essential on the day.

I camped on guest site last year, and the tent next to me were press guys. So I presume you will be on the guest campsite. When you get off the shuttle bus, you can see the unit where you'll get your wristband and the camp entrance is next to it. I would say about 100 meters from where the bus drops off. I got a shuttle bus one day last year and it took me no time at all to be back at camp.

The busses run regularly on the Monday. but there will be a queue so make sure you allow time.

I'm meeting the same press guys to camp with them this year, so pm me if you want to camp with us . the more the merrier. I'm going on the Wednesday by the way so will be set up already when you get there.

Hope this helps.
