WHICH CAMPSITE/PARKING?!?

First time at V fest (actually first time at any festival!) and unsure which campsite to stay in. Our party consists of two forty something mums and our two teenage girls (who don't like walking/carrying etc!). Any advice on camping or parking welcome thank you x

Parking you essentially wont get a choice.  In the past the earlier you get there the closer you'll be to the camp sites.

The easiest walk is from the South 4 or 5 car parks, unfortunately you get very little say in which car park you end up in though.

Depends which way you're coming from, but I usually join the A5 from junction 3 of the M54 and stay in the right hand lane. There's a right turn just after the Bell Inn. If the steward directs you down that road you are laughing. I've aimed to join the A5 queue around 8/9am and this route has worked for me 3 of the 5 times I've been.

The twice it didn't work out I was much later, around 11am.

It's a 10 min walk from South 4/5. I usually camp in green (through the entrance and turn left) and it's around a 15 min walk to the arena.

It's a bit of a trek from the other car parks. Just get yourself a good trolley/sacktruck and you'll be fine.
