Flow festival in Helsinki has just announced their line up, they are between 11th - 13th August, so Aphex could be at Sziget.  http://www.flowfestival.com/en/artists/

They've lost the plot. I mean that is desperate.

I wouldn't say the main problem is this first announcement. More important than this is that a lot of the big names are doing june and july festivals in europe, rather than august. at least they are not competing with any other festival in their country, like pukkelpop.

It's not a question of big names. It's a question of no names. 

Also, Lowlands, Pukkelpop, Reading, Electric Picnic, Bestival, Rock En Seine etc etc will all pull something out of the bag. That list just reads like same old shite. Apart from the laughable end show, I'm not sure there's anything on that list which hasn't been there in the last few years. There's nothing on there which is going to inspire anybody. We've got shite DJ's, has been never was landfill indie, past it punk, and Major Lazer headlining two years after playing.

Hopefully they pull something big and unexpected, i personally would hate the prodigy and would rather mumford and sons over them. (Not that either appeal to me) Placebo is a good shout too.

On a different note has anyone tried the pre pitched tents? Considering buying one in VIP so it saves bringing the tent/supplies.

Very poor first announcement, Bad Religion is the only act i'd be overly fussed about on that.

I've stayed in VIP and alternativa,  both places have prepitched tents that are pitched Right next to each other in full sun.

Sadly not a chance with at least half of these. This festival fell apart a few years back when the funding agreement with the local government changed significantly, the lineups have never been the same since.

The first headliners list is horrible. Come on, sziget cannot put placebo as headliners on the main stage in 2017. I don't think justice can headline either. The others seem very likely.
