CoS are usually on the money with rumours like this. They nailed the LCD reunion despite vociferous denials from DFA.

Yeah COS are, you can usually tell they get a lot of stuff or seem to from here but the guy who I read about earlier that knew has a strong source. It's very possible they may have decided to and had a change of mind.

TBH we are only more content with it due to Neil's info but atm I'm going with Radiohead, Ed and The Roses, meaning I have to try.....succeed.

he says that they're for sure not headlining Coachella, so I'd say it's pretty certain he knows who is.

as mentioned, he had the LCD info last year before anyone else was reporting it.

Whether he knows or not I'm not sure but I'd take a guess at RH, AF and Beyonce myself.

They might be right, I've no way of knowing.

However, the stuff I heard has come from not just "an industry source" that gave CoS their denial but "a representative of the band", Which is why I've said if it's wrong the mouth its come from is going to have egg on his face.

I will make clear however that it wouldn't be the first time that someone in the same role has said stuff like this and been wrong, so I'm not particularly believing what I've heard,. tho at the same time I don't feel able to dismiss it even after CoS has done their own digging.

with Radiohead and the Roses now seeming more likely than ever and my faith in Sheeran being there still remaining high, regardless of the NME article yesterday ramping up my hopes i think i'm gonna settle with the fact Daft Punk probably aren't gonna be there until anything more is announced. the CoS guy's 'they're definitely not doing Coachella' bit is most damning as you'd assume, like most huge comebacks, that'd be first stop for them

I don't get what CoS are doing, Lollapallooza drop hints making it unlikely they would be playing Coachella (assuming Lollapallooza have them as an exclusive) however that would mean the signs would be for DP to play a Festival Republic date in the UK (as they are tied into Leopallooza Germany)

except if anything, this makes it even more likely that CoS are right, as it's pretty clear that their source at Coachella/Golden Voice had the correct info last year on LCD despite the denials, so they're probably right on this too.

The Lolla poster was for South America which wouldn't rule out Coaches last at all. What makes the poster look fake is that the festival only had 3 headliners each day and that Daft Punk and The Wkend were on the same line below and for the as Duran Duran. 

A post since has reported that the 3 festivals have Metallica, The Strokes and The Wkend. COS have also reported this although am unsure whether they are just posting it from a 3rd party from them but it had also been denied and said that RH aren't headlining it so I would presume that leak of the 3 is correct and Duran Duran are possibly a sub.

oh right, thought that was pretty much debunked given that they had artist pages for many other acts who played in previous years (including 2007) too.
