Dylan's Big Toe
Are we expecting an announcement in March this year? Last year we had about 30 acts announced in February then another 30 on 8th March. This year we had about 60 in the initial announcement so I'm guessing no additions for another month or 2? Mega Bog on the other hand I won't be worrying about anyone clashing with I saw both in Bristol and agree with you on both counts. I'm seeing Josefin Ohrn on Friday, which reminds me that we're low on the psych band count at the moment. I see there is some cross over with the Electric Fields line up. Do you think we might see a few more of these artists? Would like to see Frightened Rabbit and British Sea Power again. (sorry WM Hall this wasn't in reply to your post but the only way I could post using my phone). Edited March 2, 2017 by juliadevitt
ColonMan
American Football have a very short UK tour starting in Brighton on the End of the Road Friday. Might be an option for the Thursday night. Saw them in 2015 at Gorilla in Manchester. They performed an extra 'matinee' show on the day of their gig because of the level of demand. Slightly strange experience to be at a sold out gig early on a Saturday afternoon, at least outside a festival, but was still enjoyable! Yokel Again
Be happy with FRabbit after managing to miss them twice at Glastonbury last year.
shoebox
I can see Anna Meredith being on a few festival bills this summer. Hope she returns to EOTR as I only caught the very end of her set last year.
gigs
An excellent evening at the Concord last night for the Drive by Truckers. Played a mix of tunes from several albums, including 4 from Southern Rock Opera. Also a timely cover of gimme some truth by John Lennon. Good support from a band I hadn't heard of called Eyelids, who are well worth a look at.
ljsawyer
Next announcement coming this week according to Instagram! Who are we thinking they've booked as the third headliner?
Yokel Again
Listening to Fleet Foxes new tune this afternoon - hope it's them, but guessing it won't be - presumably Latitude is an exclusive.
Yesiamaduck
We'll be adding more names to the line up on Thursday morning, including our third headliner! And it’s a doozy. *smug face* From Facebook
Guy Incognito
Thursday morning for the announcement! Yeah Fleet Foxes are sadly a Latitude exclusive
Swanmob
If Interpol is still a possibility that would be great.

ljsawyer
The Magnetic Fields? Probably a pipe dream, but would be a massive coup.
WM Hall
Ooof - The Magnetic Fields is a good shout, I reckon. Let's get some more leftfield / 'out there' names - Omar Souleyman, Bing & Ruth, Ata Kak, Syrinx, Jameszoo
Swanmob
May as well continue in the Parquet Courts, Carseat Headrest, Omni, Duds vein so I would say Useless Eaters, Preoccupations, Thee Oh Sees again. Mostly wishful thinking probably.
zahidf
Third headliner clue - 'we'll all be waving flags during their set.' The national?
bobbyperu
That would be British Sea Power then? Not sure they are headliner size?

Yokel Again
Enjoyed BSP the year I saw them (2009?) - not sure about headlining though?
juliadevitt
omg, They went down a storm on the Garden Stage just before the headliner a couple of years ago. Please let it be true!
shoebox
I love BSP, really do. But a Woods headline slot would not constitute a "doozy" for me. They have played many times and I cannot see that their stock has risen to headliner status, not for a festival of EOTR's size anyway. They are also playing lower down the bill on many other festivals this summer, most of which I would consider to be smaller and/or less prestigious.
