I have stayed and wouldn't again. felt too corporate and seemed miles away from festival. I would be happy to stay onsite but friends have always needed a shower.(happy to be smelly) my recommendation would be lovefields. It is really close to theatre field and felt closer to pyramid too if that's your thing. Although they don't have reasonably priced erected tent options. think the first starts at 1500. take your own tent is 550. but nice quiet area loads of space. just if you feel like paying that for a patch of grass. My friends loved it and to be fair was closer than a lot of the quiet areas on site.

Not really familiar with these fields so apologies if I sound dense.. But whats the difference between these and regular fields? I just can't imagine paying £400+ to pitch my own tent. Are they loads nicer or is it just because there's showers there too or?

Showers, toilets, car near the tent. That's about it.

The above are definite bonus's whether it's £400's worth that's up to the individual.  

I'm sure someone will be along soon to tell us how this is killing the festival but if you want it you do it mate.
