sbaker176
It's been a while since I last went to Glastonbury and I never really went to the Pyramid stage anyway, but in anticipation for Radiohead I was wondering what would be a wiser spot between A and B detailed on the attached photo. From what I remember there is a slight incline towards the soundstage, so for someone who is 5ft which of the 2 would be better to go to? Thanks for your help! musky
I'd be inclined to head for the spot just in front of A, just inside the barrier. There's usually space there which will give you a better chance of seeing without being crammed right behind someone taller. Unfortunately there's nowhere in that picture that has enough of an incline to really make any difference for shorter people. If you don't mind being a bit further away, at the edge of the field to the right there are railway sleepers along the line of the fence. That would give you about 6 inches of extra height. musky
Picture of the fence. That line of people along the edge of the hedge will be people sitting on the sleepers.
Wilfko
On a serious note, thought about taking one of those little collapsible step thingymajigs? Hardly expect Radiohead to get too rowdy crowdwise.. so long as you're nowhere near me anyway.

incident
It's worth mentioning that the photo doesn't really apply anymore - the last couple years the Pyramid Stage has had 2 sound desks, one on each side of where the old one used to be and the "centre" is open. dingbat2
Just take a wander round the field on Wednesday or Thursday when it's empty and see where the inclines are. Just remember the closer you get the more rammed it will be Either side of the barrier between sound desk and stage would also be a suggestion, especially in front where you could take something to stand on without peeing too many folk off. Need to get there early and be willing to stay there for the headliners though
giantkatestacks
Alongside the barrier to the right hand side of the left mini soundstage. You have a clear line of sight to the stage along the barrier. My 12 year old stood there for adele and could see the stage. He did get the full force of a cannon load of adele confetti mind but you cant have everything.

Whenever I look at photos I only see one soundstage
giantkatestacks
If you google pyramid field glastonbury field 2016 and scroll down through the images a bit you'll see some.
BlackZeppelin
To the Right of B there is an incline. If you don't mind being a bit further back, the second rank of speaker towers on the right is where our group goes, beautiful gradient that allows everyone to see easily. I'm 5'2" and the tallest person in the world usually decides to stand in front of me (one was even wearing a top hat, just to rub it in, the b@stard). However, ladies standing on these steps in a big crowd - go to the Acoustic tent and you'll see loads of them - just p*sses me right off. They just need to "get down", in both senses of the phrase. If you're that worried about seeing the stage, make your way towards the front, or find a friendly tall fellow who'll let you sit on his shoulders ;-) Other than that, all the larger main stages have big screens, which really help us shorties!
