Camp bed or mattress

As the title says really.

which do you think is better? 

We have always used a blow up mattress but we are thinking of buying camp beds for a better nights sleep and to not keep having to pump a mattress back up every morning because it's deflated.

Not at Glastonbury but lots of motorbike camping and camp bed all the way for me...blow mattress in my experience have been heavy and pants as mine kept deflating especially if it's warm   I use a Highlander portable, packable  camp bed

Self inflating camping mat for me.. I invested in this one quite a few years ago- https://www.alpkit.com/products/dirtbag though my partner has a really cheap 7.5cm one which is even comfier! I'm a bit of a wuss as I like to buy a cheap pillow so that it's packed small and bring a cotton sheet, it's all about getting those 2 hours of really good sleep before you start again!

Looks kinda flimsy but my children have been sleeping on it for the last fortnight and love it. Stood up to being trampled in a 7 and 5 year olds bedroom. I've not tried to sleep on it yet myself but it feels comfy to lie down on. Only weighs 1kg as well. Easy to put up once you've worked it out.

Double duvet folded in half is my favourite. Takes an extra trip to the car but I just tie that in with other bits.

This is the one I bought. It's price wobbles around 29 - 31 quid. It came from China but was pretty quick.

Good double blow up airbed any time with a double sleeping bag and liner - even though I'm solo.  Nice to be able to move around a bit.  Also a good supply of blankets thanks to Joe Bananas (sadly no more).

Decathlon inflatable bed base with SIM - we even use them as guest beds at home they’re that good! Plus handy bit under the mattress to corral clothes etc

Never seen these inflatable bases before, they do look good.  There are two on Decathlon, with a £40 proce difference, am I missing something or is the only differnece there is a liner on the base of the more expensive one and the "lid" lifts up?

I’d say that does look like the only difference! Easy enough to lift the whole thing (even with SIM attached) and store things underneath.

the bag is a little bigger… 🤷‍♀️

Ha - the more expensive one didn’t exist before! I’ve got the cheaper one - either slide things between the slats or lift the whole bed & slide in things underneath! No idea why you’d buy the more expensive one!!
