Taxi to Glastonbury

We are getting a taxi from London to Glastonbury on the Tuesday night, hoping to arrive fairly early just after midnight

Would we have to be dropped off at the official taxi rank near Gate A? or could we ask to be dropped off at a particular gate (ideally closer to Pennards)

Official rank only.  But you'll be ready to stretch your legs after sitting in a taxi from london

Jeez how much is that going to cost? Is there not a coach or Train you could get?

There's 6 of us going with bags, tents, booze etc so we hired a minibus taxi - £50 each, getting train back on the Monday

You're still going to have everything except the booze to bring back on the train. You're not planning on leaving any of those tents etc. behind, are you?

We'll be bringing our tents & bags back with us on the train  There's only 2 of us heading back to London on the Monday so will be a lot more manageable, some are staying in Bristol for the night

That does seem a cheap, hassle free way to get there.
