Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza

Sorry for the not directly festival related question but...

We have decided to book tickets / camping for this years bash as a way of making sure we visit Glastonbury outside of the festival and to make sure we see the Tor and the town etc.

We have booked a campervan pitch and it says the camping area is near the Tor and there will be a shuttle bus service to the Abbey on the evening.

Can any of you good efesters provide any info on the camp site, the frequency of the shuttle etc and what to expect in the way of drink and food at the Abbey?

21 days and we will be on site (at the big one of course) counting down very Impatiently!

Several food and drink options at the Abbey can remember specifics tho. Decent real ale too if that matters.

Most people seem to take their own food and drink together with picnic tables and chairs (some go completely OTT with candelabras etc). Several supermarkets nearby to top up on supplies/champagne/cava.

Campsite is indeed near the Tor, temporary affair in a decent spot and not cramped from what I saw of it. Not sure if there is any catering. Bus to Abbey will be a short trip but worthwhile if you are lugging loads of gear, else just walk into town.
