Staff parking field?

Hi guys,

I'm getting a lift up to the festival with friends who will be working. They have to arrive by 8pm on Tuesday, so I plan to stay in their car Tuesday night then head in first thing Wednesday.

We'd like to park near gate B if possible but do you know if there's special staff car parking or can they just park in the regular parking fields?

that is tricky because the rules were changed last year but I am not sure if it was for all the staff .

If a person has been issued a ' staff car park pass ' that will indicate  which car park they can use. Not everyone will be offered a staff car park pass.

certainly with the WBC anyone who drove there last year was issued a trader ticket with face image and that was being checked together with the staff car park pass.

I only know the staff car park next to gate D but I know there is others

there is stewards/security about and they are checking for a trader ticket with face image to enter the staff entrance so I am not sure what they may do if you try to leave that staff car park.

yes for sure staff can buy a parking ticket and park with the general public which may be a better option for you.

I expect they'll be in Purple car parks (near-ish to Gate B ) if they're litterpicking. If they have litterpicking letters they'll be able to enter the festival ahead of time (from Sunday onwards) but they should read the instructions on the letter carefully. Staff are usually advised NOT to arrive on Tuesday afternoon or evening.
