JSmurphy
I have no idea what direction this festival is going in. I'd say Florence + The Machine, The 1975 and Queens of the Stone Age but it won't be that good. Edited February 13, 2018 by JSmurphy My 2112th post shout out Neil Peart
Odessa
Oh man can we be arsed talking about this for a year only to be hit with something similar to what we got today?

They should have a rap headliner again but BBK a year after Skepta seems pointless. Maybe Stormzy? Blink would be jokes. Tbf with The 1975 in the middle, they can probably put whoever on the last day. Liam Gallagher must be a good bet. Yeah I was thinking even before today that Liam Gallagher will probably end up headlining R&L next time he's around.

Steve1000
Come on, if they could have got Foos / Kendrick / Royal Blood, they would have. Something clearly went horribly wrong but I wouldn't read into this years headliners and expect something similar next.

Odd that they seem to have avoided the UK festival scene entirely this year (unless there's something they've yet to be announced for). Thought this'd be the year that saw them rise up to headliners for sure. Won't have quite the same 'new up and coming headliner' feel when/if they do it in a couple of years on album #3. Yeah unless they're at Bestival (where they'd seem a bit out of place) or TRNSMT then it seems they're not gonna be anywhere, which would be really odd. Guest
Thinking about it, Royal Blood would have even been a better headliner/more fitting for the APE day that Catfish are doing. Not sure if they're in Europe around then though.

The Bestival booker has massively hinted at Royal Blood. Could see them being UK exclusive at Bestival, which could be a great segue into solo headlining R&L next year instead of being coheadliner's this year. The All Round Ball :|
So sorry for going a little bit off topic, but Kendrick got Summer Sessions, do you think foos will do anything in the UK this year now? Obviously other than the stad shows they got so far? Also, thinking about it, if AM dont do Glasto next year, I feel they could be at R&L 2019. With the likes of Greenday, 1975 and maybe Kanye if he returns.
