Campervan Convoy

Hi everyone!

I'm heading to my third Glastonbury, third time in a campervan, but first time trying to arrive with another van.

This is complicated by the fact that we are driving from Yorkshire, and they're coming from Essex. I'm aware from previous years that once you get relatively close to the site it all becomes a bit fiddly, so I'm trying to work out the best place for us to meet.

We would normally come down via Bristol, whereas I'd assume the Essex contingent will be going over via the M3.

Do you think we could meet in Shepton Mallet, or is that a bit too close to the site?

Sorry, I realise that is an incredibly specific enquiry and unlikely to help anyone else, but if anyone has an ideas, I'd be eternally grateful!

Sainsburys in Street, big car park about half way between the M5 and the festival tell the Essex lot to go via m4 > m5 it's much quicker than m3 way on festival days as the a303 will be slow.

Tesco Shepton mallet always a favourite meeting place for us , large car park and last minute supplies
