Mates ticket has been lost by Royal Mail.

as it's not delivered I assume it's See Tickets or Glastonbury Festivals issue to replace.

ive read of missing tickets here but can't find any clarification as to how any previous issue was fixed.

Any experienced help would be appreciated

cheers

No definitive info to give you but if you have the proof of loss (presumably it's via the tracking number), you should be able to discuss that with See via the 0115 number? Sorry, don't have that number to hand.

Here is a thread from last year, don't be bullied by See, and good luck! :)

can't understand in the technological age and See still rely on Royal Mail.. if they can do the barcode entry with worthy view then surely the same could be done with general entry

I believe this gets talked about every year.  I think in the end the chat settles down to the fact it would cost a fortune to do that (multiple entry points, nearly 200,000 people etc, support to the entry points like power, IT etc etc).

It's quite a different situation though. This one sounds a lot more clear cut - if Royal Mail haven't delivered the ticket, then See are obliged to make it right. Can't imagine they'd even argue this one - the biggest push back is likely to be asking the person to wait a week or two in case it does ultimately turn up.

I posted the thread simply for the advice within it.

I had a situation two years ago where a ticket was lost on the way to my address overseas. In a nutshell, it's See's responsibility to get the ticket to you. If that doesn't happen, you'll probably need to arrange to visit the box office on site (I believe it's near PGA) and collect it there with ID. See won't issue another one, but unless anybody's signed for it, the worst case scenario is a minor inconvenience picking it up when you get there.

Kalifire is right. If they haven't delivered your ticket, it is their responsibility to sort it out, but they won't post out a new one. You'll be asked to go to the box office at Gate A, with relevant ID and copies of emails. But best thing to do is call See customer service ASAP and discuss with them. Hopefully Royal Mail haven't lost it and it will turn up. Where was it last tracked? Have to say Royal Mail are generally pretty reliable compared to the absolute disaster that was DX a few years ago.....
