Campervan Gazebo?

Hi Guys,

Ive had a little look but I cant find a lot of information so I'm hoping a seasoned campervanner can help!  We are bringing a campervan this year and have a large pitch ticket in Bath and West.  As our van doesnt have an awning or anything we were hoping we could bring a gazebo for some sun (rain!) shelter.  I know traditionally gazebos arent well thought of while camping, but would this be seen as a problem within the campervans having set spaces?  I would hate to go against campervan etiquette!

Thanks in advance!

Whilst I haven't stayed in B&W, I don't believe this should be a problem..

we have a caravan (with awning) and we just tell the stewards that we need room on that side of the caravan..

there are plenty of campervans in CV East that have gazebos pushed up beside them (in an awning styli) and in fact I would advise it as it gives you somewhere dry to take off / store boots, coats etc if it were ever to rain (which of course it won't this year...)

Just to add to this, gazebo's are fine but do mention that you want to put one up to the stewards.  They have a fire (contagion?) consideration to manage so you can't have your gazebo butted against yours and someone else's van.  Also, if they're fretting about space (usually for slightly later arrivals) they may ask you to compromise.  They did with us a number of years ago, we had two vans and two gazebo's inbetween and they kindly asked if we could live with one (we could) and to move one of the vans in.
