Must suck to be Spurs and Celtic right now. Ouch! As I mentioned earlier, some great games here. United clearly the most fortunate, City and Liverpool should both go through fairly simply as well. Tough draw for Chelsea but I'm confident we can get through it.

Happy with that draw and was absolutely terrified of being drawn in Group H.

I know you have to face them all eventually but I would much prefer an easy group. Realistically if your team won the CL you wouldn't care what route you took to get there. I would happily have all the big teams knock each other out and play someone like APOEL in the final. A trophy is a trophy.

Couple of long trips for Liverpool, that's the worst part of your draw.

Yeah for sure. Will almost certainly have a detrimental affect on our league form.

? Naples is further away than Maribor.

Realistically they're not going to win it, so why not enjoy a few ties against the elite?

I felt the same about Leicester last season when everyone said Athletico was a great draw. I felt Leicester weren't going to win the thing, or probably qualify again. It was a pity they avoided the giants throughout the tournament.

Oliver Burke signed on a five year deal for about £12m.

If he's as good as the hype suggests this could be a bit of a coup.

I found his move over to Germany refreshing and he has talent no doubt from the little I've seen of him.

On the downside, he was hardly a success in the Bundesliga and he's Scottish....:P

What do fellow football podcast fans think of football weekly effectively splitting into 2 separate podcasts.

To me they have split on great show to two very good ones. I can't decide if that is good or bad.

Can be good, can be awful - depends on the guests. It's also not the same without JR.

Have you listened to the totally football show yet?

It's fine, he'll have a good season this year, we'll flog him to City for £50m next summer then buy him back for £15m summer 2020.

I listen to them both, but feel neither is as good as football weekly was before the breakaway. To me a big part of that show was the chemistry between Richardson and Glendenning. Interesting idea on this weeks show about a handicap knockout tournament in Sweden where clubs are given penalties at the start based on the difference in leagues between the 2 teams.

From wiki... "Despite this early impact, Burke was regularly used as a substitute by Leipzig. Their coaching staff praised his physical attributes, but questioned his tactical awareness"

I look forward to watching him play nonetheless. Moving abroad is almost unheard of for young Brits, so good on him for rising to the challenge. The experience will do him good. Let's see what he's made of in the Premier League. Is he a flair player? WBA could do with a bit of spice.

If there's one coach to drum in some tactical awareness it's our Tone. He'll be tracking back behind the full backs in mere weeks.

The blurb states that he has the full package - pace, power, skill and could go on to become something really special. I'm old and sensible enough to know that this might all be bollocks and he could be another kid who gets hyped up to huge levels then fails to deliver. But to be honest I can't remember the last signing we made that was genuinely exciting. Usually we buy solid, experienced pros who we know exactly what we're getting from. This is something new and different.
