Travelling from Glasgow for the sunday

Hi folks, myself & a friend are travelling down for the first time this year and we're wondering where is best to stay? Is it Leeds or York that will be easiest to commute to & from the site?

We're getting the train down first thing on the Sunday morning so it stops at both locations anyway. We're going to staying over in a hotel Sunday night but still undecided as to which is the easier & cheaper option for getting to & from the site.

if you type in leeds festival transport into google it should bring up a link for a company called the big green coach, this will pick you up a selection spot of your choice ie leeds and then drop you back there again at night after the main stage has closed. think its at a cost of £10 return per person.

 

obviously this will depend on what time you get into leeds at.
