Wonder the odds of those catfish gigs getting cancelled due to low sales. Not sold out a single section and both standing areas still avaliable in London.

There are sections sold out on TM

Also impossible to see the standing sales

Wizkid went ahead and looked just as bad possibly worse

I imagine they'll push on for as long as they can.

Can't rule out the idea they're hoping for a push from those seeing them on TV or in person at Reading & Leeds this weekend and build it up. Though yeah it is looking like a slow seller so far.

f**k knows why there's a separate golden circle up front for an extra £20. I find that an unwelcome thing for bands with bigger repertoires, let alone this lot being quite ambitious in adding it.

80 odd for standing and nearly £100 for lower tier seats.  Wow

This bit is true but the fact that you can still buy the maximum allowed of 6 for Cardiff on SeeTickets for both front circle and golden circle indicates that demand hasn't quite been eaten up just yet.

Imagine the disappointment if it just turns out to be a remastering of one of their earlier albums.

Even more so if it was a remastering of one of their later albums! People often forget they had 7 studio albums.

I'm aware that their first two albums do a lot of heavy lifting for their reputation, Be Here Now was divisive, and then they just carried on until that fight backstage in Paris in 2009.

Or at least that's how some interpreted it.

Just a thought but after last week's debate about Catfish and the Bottlemen's inexplicable stadium gigs, imagine if one of the Oasis shows was on the same night.

🤣 they’d genuinely have about twenty people turn up

Well yup - turns out they do clash. Their Spurs stadium date is on 3rd August, which is the last of the 4 Oasis Wembley shows just announced.

Presumably it's now too late for Catfish to back out and ask if they can be Oasis' support.

£43.40 including all fees to see Courteeners at Brixton in November 2021.

Based on £65 for Glasgow and Birmingham on this tour, it's going to be £70 for Brixton in 2024.

If so, that's going to be the face value ticket price going up 100% in three years.

It's a hell of a jump. But then, as we're about to see with Oasis, common sense pricing left the station a loooong time ago.

If you've seen prices that are £150 for GA standing and £200 for most expensive non-VIP seats, you are clearly right.

Still likely to sell out though. 15 years of absence has clearly built up quite the degree of hype. Although I say that as someone who couldn't stomach paying £110+ for GA tickets to Muse and The Killers at London O2 in the last year.

Getting ads saying catfish have sold out standing for their stadium gigs so may not be the historic low sellers this place has been predicting, though I suspect the seats will be a real struggle to shift.

For this, you mean?

I've seen the ads too. It only refers to the Tottenham gig. Standing at a stadium is relatively easy to sell out. There are many thousands of seated tickets left though.
