Looks like the MK Bowl event in June mentioned previous could include Kraftwerk, Johnny Marr, The Cult, Billy Idol, The The, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Happy Mondays, The Damned, Public Image Ltd, The Psychedelic Furs.

Incredible lineup if true.

A hastily deleted NME article suggested this. Someone is probably getting bollocked for breaching Monday's embargo as we speak.

Nice of them to include Kraftwerk so you have a nice gap to go for food.

I don't think I could handle the clashes it would be mental.

Don't worry, it'll be like one of those day festivals in America where everyone gets twelve minutes each

sure dude. The main stage had a physically rotating stage. Im sure thats a foreign concept to ya'll cause you cant imagine being that efficient. Schedule for Cruel World this year. Its not that bad, but you keep convincing yourself otherwise. Oh yeah, you dont get Club Doom. Unless its popping up later. ( side stage goth club )

Nothing longer than an hour, even for your headliner, is absolutely criminal.

In fairness I like the idea of revolving stages. I saw Arctic Monkeys use it at Finsbury Park in 2014 where they had the stage spin around to reveal them during the start of the opening song. Clearly it's not yet taken off outside of things like this.

Even so, you can like the idea of a revolving stage but think these acts really don't get all that much stage time and you're only really getting bite-size performances.

The Cult and Billy Idol have no tourdates for 2025 at this moment so i have my doubts about them being there.....

I don't think there'll be any clashes. Bludfest this year used the big stage at the foot of the bowl for all the big acts, and in the 20 minute set up time between them, they'd put a much much smaller act on a small stage far back beyond the edge of the bowl, beyond the trees.

The UK doesn't do these kinda AEG mega stacked 200$+ day fests which is where spinning stages seem to mostly be used.

That's the primary reason why we don't have them i reckon

well theyre cheaper in the Uk as proof with this new one. I will assume it will be done with caution as over here there have been 2 of them which just bit the dust. Besame Mucho which was all latin acts and had Shakira headlining got cancelled last week due to some bullshit. Sick New World which is in Vegas and is all the Nu Metal bands but they had a weird lineup for 2025 just cancelled yesterday. Live Nation burst its own bubble thinking people are stupid and will go to anything like this just with bands they put together. Not the case when its $500 for a ticket. And what promoter in their right mind gives Metallica and Linkin Park $5 million each? Here is the tea on that.

with 17 bands you could probably have alternating sets without overlap til you got to the last 5 or 6 names where they would need more time. The Cure did it 5 years ago with Pasadena Daydream. It was a dozen acts on 2 stages. Went back and forth with 5 min gaps til the small stage ended and then Pixies came on and play 75 mins. Then after 30 mins stage change The Cure played an hour 45. It was done by 11pm. Obviously Kraftwerk will have to be last cause they need the dark. So they could go on at 9:30 and go til 11? Pretty easy to give the first acts 30 mins and then slowly increase set length. I would say it wouldve been a bigger clash problem if you had 25 acts on the bill, but you dont. Really smart.
