Not that I'm aware of. Stones will surely keep until next year. Has anybody heard anything further on Macca doing Bramley Moore Dock?

Stones will probably announce in February.  Macca has said he wants to finish his new album. If he will tour i think it will be after the summer. He has done that for the last few years now. Touring in the last months of the year.

I was meant to see them supporting Los Bitchos, I think, but rocked up late and only caught the tail-end. (If it was indeed them.)

just listened to their new, debut album on a whim and instantly sensed they were a big Live Act.  just sounds like their album exists so they have an excuse to play live. has anyone seen them live before? i'd be intrigued to know what a live show from them is like. some articles have v high praise but i was wondering if there is any first-hand experience

I've seen them a few times at festivals.
they decent but I wasn't overly impressed.  it's a good show, but I think the music suffers a little because of it.

It was Hayley from Paramore's birthday yesterday and on her Instagram story was a note that, as well as thanking birthday well wishers, included the following paragraph (complete with the strike through as this was a part of it):

"I'm going to try and finally play some shows next year that would've happened 5 years ago now. That is, if the world doesn't f**king stop before then"

This hints at a possible solo tour as she was going to go on one in May/June 2020 before March 2020 happened. UK show that was initially planned was one show at the Electric in Brixton and an appearance at Brighton's Great Escape festival.

Dunno if this is a curveball when some were expecting a Paramore spot at Glastonbury and maybe also Werchter.

It would be a massive curveball as Hayley solo was awful, short-lived and should stay that way. The world stopping probably saved her.

Wasn't it just Crystal Clear that she played a little into the American tour at dates?

Says they had Simmer as a regular pick in 2022 then Crystal Clear as a staple in 2023, including at the UK shows in April last year.

Seems like Zac Farro's HalfNoise project had a song in and out of the Paramore set in 2022/23 too.

So one song off that album that was played for 14 gigs missing out the festival shows in America not to be repeated and one song which I've mentioned in the 2023 tour. Fans of Paramore are clearly going to havs given her a listen solo wise given she's the lead of a band they like. Zac Farro project is nothing to do with the Petals for Armor album mentioned.

They played a cover of Burning Down the House for every support European show on eras tour, why not play one of your own in the 9 song setlist you've been granted if it's received that well?

What do you mean IF it's been received that well?

It has been.

Your personal opinion isn't proof of otherwise.

I mean, there's a lot of publications who put Petals for Armor in their "Best Album of 2020" list and a lot of their fans love the idea of a solo tour for the Hayley solo stuff. So I thought it had been warmly received, and certainly, playing solo stuff for both Hayley and Zac's projects in Paramore's live tours hints there's still a like in their world to play them given there's not many acts playing side-project music in their main shows.

Of course there'll be exceptions, but it's a curio to go so extreme with it imo. But eh. It is what it is.

I quite like the Burning Down The House cover tbf. Sounded quite fun live from recordings I saw. But maybe it's as much because I like Talking Heads.

Rubbish! If it matters play it more, simple facts!. Do a longer solo tour when touring is back, again simple facts! Paramore would have waited if solo was that big and popular. My opinion doesn't need to we, what happened is.

No dude, playing 1 song on a 14 date stint, 1 different song instead of both on the tour isn't. Again, do a solo tour when it's possible to as above. You didn't see other acts just decide not to do a tour because covid happened.

It's not really extreme, acts include what they think is worth it so by 2023 when they did a tour that was 21/22 songs like there was still only room for one of her own solo songs and I mean come on that setlist has plenty of options that could drop out if it mattered as was seen important enough.

The point is they had a support slot to the biggest artists in the world for 9 songs, 90k people at Wembley to drop a solo song but nope.
