Their set at Leeds in 2014 was glorious. The weather had been a bit sh*tty all day but just before they came on, the sun came out, it warmed up and it was a lovely old time.
A great album I missed from January is the new one by MIKE. I love his effortless flow over an interesting array of samples from all styles of music. It's very abstract and almost a bit jazzy, and the lyrics are full of great storytelling and introspection. Some masterful rapping. Would recommend for fans of Earl Sweatshirt/MF Doom/Billy woods or even Nas.
