Managed to bag a pair of those tickets, literally in the back row of the upper tier.

The dream, nice one. Yesterday I wanted standing tickets, today I want my back to the wall of the highest point of the dome while my girlfriend asks why I bought the tickets that set off her vertigo.

3 more nights to be announced, should be interesting to see if they sell out as quickly

The people with the £500 tickets or whatever the price is can afford to do more than one night at that price. A lot of fans will want to get as many shows in as possible, and a lot will travel.

Think of how many tickets the ABBA Voyage is shifting. This is the real life Madonna.

For stuff that is easily going to sell out they really should put all the dates on sale at once.

It's not like they won't sell.

Definitely fairer for a larger amount of people. I get why they do it for stadiums. Some guy gets bad seats for night 1 then double dips on a better ticket for night 2. But everything's gonna go in this arena.

Looks like 4 stages and the seats at the back of the stage are going to be used too.

It's not like they won't sell.

Forces people to buy the expensive seats when they think its their only chance, freeing up more cheaper seats for people who wouldn't bother otherwise.

That's my thinking.

1 -> 4 is a huge leap in one go though

It's all about context.

For Madonna, on a supposed Greatest Hits tour, 1 night at the O2 as the only UK show would've barely made a dent in the demand. 4 shows doesn't either.

Wouldn't be a shock at all if she came back next summer in Stadiums - multiple shows across the country each at 60-90k. If it does genuinely turn out to be a "Greatest Hits" tour then that'd sell out instantly.

You have to be careful with Madge.

When she did her Palladium residency in 2020, she cancelled the Tuesday shows, and only did full sets on the Wednesdays and Saturdays.  For her Thursday and Sunday shows, she came on an hour late and skipped a quarter of the set.

Hopefully Saturday night is the main one.

If I see a single medley though I'm becoming the Joker.

People love vegas. And chris brown messes that whole day up pretty much. And is it worth $300 usd? Thags the cost after fees for the lowest priced ticket. This was the schedule last year so you have an idea

Not too bad at all those clashes last year. And yeah, that works out at what, around £250 or so? I think my mate paid something like £230 for 2 Chris Brown tickets in Feb. So I'd happily drop 250 if I didn't have all the costs of flights and that out to Vegas.

Time for new mates!

will end up similar to when we were young i guess - although solo artists need way less changeover time

For scale, it looks like Just Like Heaven Festival had about 50-60 minute sets (although Interpol had a longer headline spot). Looks like WWWY Festival was closer to half an hour for some acts though.

Plus yeah, the nature of those events you can be a bit more rapid-fire with pushing on all the singers.
