Pissed me off that, after the catastrophe last time they did it. One of my worst experiences at a gig. I'm also told the sound was still shite at Tame Impala last time, so they clearly aren't addressing it.

One of my favourite bands who rarely tour, and I'll probably have to swerve it 🤒

I'm with you on this buddy. The undercard in 2019 did slap though and saw loads of good bands and performances. Strokes came on and sounded like they'd been played through someone's phone speakers.

Exactly. I remember watching Johnny Marr and it was fine. I can only assume it's due to the time and where the park is but if that's the case - don't put a festival on there, because you're just having people's pants down.

I’d be mistrusting of them now. Saw them in about 2005 or 6 or so and it was a riot. Brilliant gig. Saw them again at Electric Picnic in 2019 and Julian had fallen off the wagon and was drunk. It got a bit messy at times.

Their Primavera set last year was a bit of a car crash. Didn't help that the sound was dreadful.

I just wish they'd do a tour - even if it's a handful or European & US arena/theatre shows. I'd happily travel. This sporadic festival stuff every year now is just tiresome, clearly just chasing the $$$

Annoying isn’t it. I’ve been hoping to see them for years and ended up being at a wedding the day they finally played Scotland last summer, as well as them cancelling Primavera the day before I was due to see them there. I’m hoping for an Edinburgh gig around then as there are another two big outdoor gigs on the Connect site but can’t say I’m confident.

Sadly that's not happening

It's almost offensive that APE are having The Strokes again after what happened last time. I have never experienced anything like it - they literally just turned off half the speakers and refused to refund anyone.
