The font colour, type, and background colour seemingly hid St Laurence Chruch well from the proof-reader!

Well spotted. Though tbf isn't there a thing about how if the first and last letters of a word are in the right place, the brain can trick itself into thinking the word is spelt corretcly?

(Yes that typo is intentional. I am that lame)

f**k me Tool tickets were expensive on o2 today.

After several refreshes I ended up with floor seats for 2nd tier price which was good. At the back of block A3. Happy with that. They're one of only a handful of band's I'll pay top dollar for nowadays as they are my all time favourite. But still.

Biffy Clyro. Still maintain they've got enough in them to absolutely knock the hell out of a Pyramid headline slot, but sadly, that boat has long, longlong since sailed.

Yeah a decade too late for that

Absolutely. Could have done it in 2014. Hell, if they'd been active in 2015, they would have had more currency than The Who as a late replacement.

Ellipsis really didn't land like they hoped, though I also remember them feeling like one of the biggest sub-headliners in years - on paper - in 2017.

Definitely think we're due for a Biffy Other Stage headline set on their next album style. Would be great to see them knocking 10 bells out of Sunday night against a massive Pyramid headliner

Madonna vs Biffy sunday night would be really bloody good, i'd be all over the biff

I love the biff but wouldn't be surprised if they headlined the smaller festivals next year, except for Scotland. How did their arena tour sell last year?

They sold out 2 of the 8 arena shows (Leeds and Cardiff) - I was at the Glasgow show, and it was pretty packed, so that would've been close to a sell out.

Glasto / Victorious / TRNSMT / APE could work well or something.

They are still too big for Truck / Y Not i think

Not sure why the Brum show has an 8pm curfew. They're touting that it's all ages, but let's be fair, this is gonna sell out immediately to people in their 40s. The venue is within a college though, so maybe they just didn't want a late night booking for a sunday.

Thieving bastards. Clearly only care about lining their pockets to the max.

I’m beginning to wonder myself what’s going on with gigs in general. When I eventually have kids they won’t be able to go to ANY gigs and I’ve been going since I was 13 (36 now).

When they can still bag plenty of headline slots at the likes of TRNSMT/Download in the future I think their best option is to resist the temptation of smaller fests. Although maybe a day at All Points East wouldn't hurt

If they want to tour Download is booked, TRNSMT will likely go for more landfill indie i think honestly and thats only one date - hardly a big tour.

They will defo drop down to something smaller - maybe will do Boardmasters perhaps. Victorious is hardly small - its 80k someone on the thread said !
