We really should give the festival a lot of credit for keeping the price reasonable, what they could get away with if they pushed it is scary…

IF they pushed it, acts would stop doing it for a massively cut price very very quickly

Fair comment. Makes me think so much is entirely driven by the exceptional reputation of Glastonbury, if that ever goes awry we’re in trouble.

Interesting. The lack of a UK exclusive tag had me assuming he was coming elsewhere. I might have made it if there was one closer to the north, for example.

But perhaps not. The question is - is this a second BST show? Or is he adding it elsewhere? If BST had their nine dates locked in already, then there isn't much wriggle room, unless they always planned for a second ZB night.

That's why I don't think they would change the ticket buying process too much.

Zach Bryan is adding a second BST date by the sound of it

So much for country agnostics like me not knowing who he is thinking it would take a while to sell.

And tbf that's something of a one-up on Morgan if he has enough demand to justify a second date.

Yeah, I remember them playing Newcastle Arena in like 2010 or something but I missed it due to exams. I'm in the same boat though, if they focused it around a set around the first and second albums, could be a great night out.

This year was 20 years since the first album came out and it's one that a lot of people had a fondness for, so I can imagine that at the very least the big hitters from that like Laura, Take Your Mama, Filthy/Gorgeous and the Comfortably Numb cover should be around. Plus the song about not feeling like dancing but that's the biggest hitter so that's a lock.

In any case the fact London O2 and Glasgow Hydro also had Scissor Sister logo promo art alongside the one scene at Manchester Co-Op hints they're going to be also involved at big arena level shows and that we'll probably get an announcement very soon.

I just can't see there being a big demand. Reformation, were huge, have a fanbase sure, but I just can't see people actually forking out for a show with all other shows that are going on. Time will tell.

Well they're certainly aiming for more ambitious than their last UK tour in 2012, which called at Roundhouse.

But the fact it's now seemingly confirmed they'll be at London O2 hints they reckon a decade-plus of absence has such demand stored up. I guess we'll soon find out, but I think they might pull it off.
