How big are the rest of Williams shows? The Newcastle venue has never had a stadium sized capacity but if he’s playing it may open up the gates for more big named acts playing up here.

More likely Fender is one of them.

Really amazed at how huge this reunion has been for Linkin Park. Never knew they were so massive.

Its 25 years ish since a lot of the douchebag rock bands hit the scene. Hence we're seeing Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Alien Ant Farm, Sum 41 et al.

They're probably the 2nd best selling band of this century behind Coldplay

I'm gonna say this isn't true. Adele, Taylor, Ed Sheeran, Drake etc etc. If you mean bands then they'd be higher up the list but still not second.

Linkin Park have always been massive. They could have filled stadiums with Chester, and they regularly headlined festivals. Now it has reunion hype to go with it. They were my favourite band growing up, and I never lost that love for them, and neither did every other fan.

I said a band 😄

Just look at the certifications of their albums and their numbers. They even had a top 40 single as a rock band in 2024 in the USA and top 5 in the UK. I don't think there's any band that can match this except Coldplay of course

Whoops! Sorry! Could have sworn it said artist.

One Direction? BTS? But yeah, I get you

Murrayfield and the Arsenal stadium can both get crowds in excess of 60,000. Manchester Co-Op arena is in the 20k range. No idea what the capacity is of the Bath park randomly added to proceedings.

They had a huge crowd at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes in 2008, which I recall because some people in my school year as a local to there went. More surprised they didn't book any other big outdoor shows like it between then and their initial disbanding tbh.

They weren’t. People used to moan at them headlining Download and didn’t sell out their most recent tours. Chester dying and then them coming back 7 years later has sent them into the stratosphere.
