Never heard of it, sorry... 

To be fair, it's not just the hangover issue. I'm going with a group of 12/13. I wouldn't be able to convince everyone to go to The Prado (which is fine I could go alone) but it'd be nice to get a few easy-going activities we could all do. 

Beach is definitely the level of suggestion I'm looking for but as @johnybgood has pointed out - it's going to be a mission to get there and back in the day (unless there's a Paris Beach equivalent thing I don't know about?). Plus, I'm heading to the coast after the festival.

I'm selling a Mad Cool Pack very last minute. You guys in here have been my main source of information & have helped convince friends to come based on Arctic Monkeys rumours, so I wanted to offer it here first. The Mad Cool Pack contains: 1 x weekend festival wristband, 1 x 20% discount for Fnac stores, 1 x Mad Cool tote bag, and a fancy box. It's supposed to come with a nice mug, but after picking it up a few minutes ago to take pictures, The lid flew off, hit the ground & smashed the mug. Broken into 5-6 pieces. Bummer.

I've attached a picture of the items in front of me. I'll also sort ticket activation. I'm looking for £175 for it - which is what I paid for it. I'll do Special Delivery £500 coverage (etc) postage for free, to make up for the mug. Also need to sort quickly as I'm leaving on Saturday! Message me if you're interested / need any more details.

We'll be touring the tour as well, thankfully we're all Welsh though so hopefully we'll get a heroes welcome.

The set times for Lollapalooza Paris have just announced and it is a good option if you want to see most of the bands that are a part of a conflict in Mad Cool like Kasabian, Kaleo, Portugal The Man, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Fidlar, Rag'N'Bone Man and Dua Lipa. They do not have that big of a conflict in Lollapalooza Paris. You will also be able to see two headliners Gorillaz and The Killers that Mad Cool misses compared to Rock Werchter.

I did that tour in 2015 and I will do it again since they added 3 champions league trophies after that. It is a much better and detailed tour compared to the one in Camp Nou.

I am trying to find the most convenient way to go to the festival but does anybody know the metro ticket prices if you change 3 metros? Uber gives an estimate of 24-35 Euros and if the Metro is more than 5-6 Euros per person we will choose Uber/Cabify. Their website shows that we will use metro number 1 then number 10 then number 8 to Feria de Madrid which is the festival's stop. Would you suggest taking the metro by changing 3 trains or an Uber?

2 euro one trip in zone A. Where are your starting from?

I have tickets for 13 and 14 Jul, but not 12. Any chance I could buy one on the day of the fest itself? Would there be some kind of ticket booth at Will Call?

Thank you for the links. We will start from Tirso de Molina stop then we will use metro number 1 then number 10 then number 8 to Feria de Madrid. There is a C1 suburban railway option too but I guess that will cost more and take more time

Check the facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/madcoolfestival/ or reddit  https://www.reddit.com/r/MadCoolFestival/  if you cannot find it here. There are a lot of people selling tickets there.  They will not sell any tickets at the festival.

Thank you kindly! I was hoping against hope because Stubhub had ticket booths outside some of the American festivals I've been to. Will try to buy from the Reddit sub or the FB group. Cheers!

So, if I'm going from Atocha to the festival it's only 1 zone right? And if there's three of us, we can use the 10 trip card? So, we could do the festival there and back for 2 euro each a day?

We're thinking about getting to the festival each day by catching the C1 train from Recoletos to Valdebebas.  Does anyone think there will be a problem with this?  Concerned that the train may be packed with people getting on at Atocha.

The metro will be busier than the Cercanias trains IMO.

Keep an eye out on flights being cancelled on Thursday July 12th. Ryanair just announced a 24 hour pilot strike. No details on what flights yet.

Edit, appears to be only Irish based pilots. Not sure what that means elsewhere.
