Mad Cool 2018

Good announcement for me, that's QOTSA, MGMT and Fleet Foxes that I've never seen live and would like to.

Personally I think this was just to get the 'hype' around Pearl Jam going, have everyone thinking they're being announced today and leave some fans wondering if they are playing afterall. Very strong start for me though.

He plays BST on July 14th, so he could easily do Mad Cool on the 12th right?

Singer songwriter country pop/rock. Had pretty big hype around him at one point but not that much in Europe. Headlined Coachella even  Never understood why he had that hype tho

Next set of coordinates are up, Bristol... Portishead, Massive Attack? Aother good name for me it's either of them, would be 6/9 I've never seen and would like to.

I've just seen this on their website, looking very good so far. Massive Attack clearly aren't headlining looking at this but are we 100% on QOTSA? Could potentially be a coheadline like Nos Alive have announced today with them/The National?

Their first Spanish show in 8 years (Massive Attack). Mad Cool are bringing it this year... (but based on all the negative reviews of this years festival, I won't be going)

Haha, yeah okay just quoting the Mad Cool website. Maybe it meant Madrid and the translation was bad

Mad Cool CM has just confirmed that the festival will share all 3 Nos Alive Festival headliners. (maybe he considers QOTSA as a Nos headliner)

Might mean that all NOS's headliners will play at MC but not necessarily be MC's headliners?

Correct, being QOTSA. PJ rumours are strong, so probably them too. Leaves us with the third...
