Not much on this lineup for me. Basically just slipknot and power trip

Quite a classic straight up metal lineup. Needs some more pop punk and other things to mix it up i reckon. Die antwoord will be sick though.

Aye that's true, I imagine Tool tickets will be made expensive anyway, like, and at least Download is kinda convenient for me.

Do we reckon all the subs are there or that Rob Zombie will be third down/second stage headliner? If Tool have a decent sub like Deftones or something it'd sway me a bit more.

Really surprised with Die Antwoord, even more than Tool. I just love them. Where would they fit? Maybe 2nd headliner?

The poster on twitter implies that Slash and Whitesnake are subs and there's another to come but idk for sure

I guess it's just the poster. Whitesnake will surely sub Leppard and i don't see Slash subbing Tool or Slipknot, maybe 2nd headliner or 3rd down on Leppard day

Two of my mates who often go to Download have said they're down for it, so if I already have two mates at the festival who'll be going to see Tool then that also makes it more inviting. Hmm.

That lineups metal as fuck (mostly), but tbh doesn't do much for me bar Tool and Slipknot. Like the 'mon, and Die Antwoord and Skindred are decent for a laugh I suppose.

I can see Architects slotting in subbing Slipknot with Slash subbing DL and Whitesnake subbing Tool.

If Slash, Whitesnake, Rob Zombie and Trivium make up four of the sub/second stage headliner pool, I've gotta assume Slayer and Architects are the others, to be announced after their own tours shift tickets.

Think I'll be swinging by the Slipknot Saturday as a favour to a sibling so that's me sorted.

Really strange seeing Def Leppard headlining the Friday. They'd play Sunday ideally.

Don't know how big Die Antwoord are, really don't know where they would fit. I would never imagine them even playing

Die antwoord are fairly big, headlined boomtown this year. Can see them headlining zippo at a fest like download

Didn't notice Opeth at first. Subbed second stage last time around so main stage Tool day? Like 4th down?

Are Mastodon doing owt next year? They're one of around three good acts that Download ever books so I need one of them or Deftones please.

They announced a big UK tour today but it's out of the way by end of January so maybe they'll be in a future announcement.
