It is getting annoying how IOW social media keep posting shit about this year's event. Fair enough, it was good memories but people are sick of it now. They seriously need to post some info on next year. Whether its when tickets go back on sale or a headliner or just something.

Probably just in negotiations on headliners that's all, they're still advertising for 2019 and dates etc have been confirmed. I'd say we'll hear something come January.

Yeah, I think it is highly unlikely to be cancelled.

Folks are getting a little annoyed at no news .

But it is still 6 months away, I don’t really see any problem.

Also I have my hotel booked on no cancel and my suit pressed, so it must be ok.

I heard rumours a few weeks ago that it was going to be cancelled. I dismissed it as nonsense but I am starting to wonder.

No, not reliable at all. Literally a couple of blokes I hardly know who I was chatting to in the pub. That's why I dismissed it.

However, they are musicians who have played at the festival before. 

Who knows? I'd be very surprised if it was cancelled though.

Hmmm I wonder, I asked them something earlier on in the year and they did reply saying mid December .

I do enjoy visiting and would of come anyway and have a ball.

Since I discovered  this fine place I will always return .

I enjoyed Ekectica very much, that everyone seems to ignore.

What a load of rubbish. A bit of a delay with the announcement and people start speculating that it’ll be cancelled?! 

Early bird tickets are sold out and general tickets haven’t even gone on sale yet. What possible reason would they have to cancel it?!

oasis are reforming and headlining so cant announce until official statement.

It's certainly wild speculation on my part, but I find it very odd that they are not even selling tickets at the moment. What possible reason could they have for not having tickets available, especially in the run-up to Christmas, when they could at least get a few sales from generous gift givers?

They only put tickets on general sale when the lineup has been announced. R&L did exactly the same this year

The difference is that R&L stopped tickets sales for a week. Not months.

Seems to me like they are struggling to get a top line up together so far or at least not happy to release it

@eFestivals Do you have any insider info to what the hell is happening with IOW 2019? Nothing to go by atm by the looks of it
