That NOS Clubbing stage is such a waste. It's awkwardly located between the main and Sagres stages and it brings ABSOLUTELY nothing to the festival unless all you care about is staring at the abyss while dancing with a drink in your hand. You can totally do that whenever and wherever every friday night. I'm sounding a bit harsh but it boggles my mind how THIS is what they have to announce

I disagree. While there might be nothing noteworthy on there I've found it to be a nice place to hang out between bands with some background music

Until 2015 Clubbing Stage had superb lineups. I don't understand why they have changed direction.

At the moment it just feels so tacked on with portuguese artists that you can catch easily at other times throughout the year

True for the Portuguese, but don't forget that we are many to come from abroad, and good Portuguese artists that we can only see here have a special flavour for us! Blasted Mechanism last year was one of our highlights

I actually wouldn't mind Robbie Williams. Always been a guilty pleasure and the guy knows how to play to a big audience.

For anyone who's been to Nos Alive before what's it like getting into the festival? Are the queue times very long? Also if I use the transport to/from Cais do Sodre will this be crazy busy with people crowding on? thanks!

I think there's some info around regarding travel Hmol - I've definitely read some myself about trains etc. being really busy and taking things like an hour to board. I've booked accomodation within half an hours walk for that reason, but others might have more info.

Go to the campsite, take a bungalow  if you need comfort; shuttle buses are really nice. And the queue is amazing with musicians playing at the entrance. And not long at all.  

It's not as fast as a small festival, but better than many major European festivals.

Now when you are inside the festival, there are maximum 5min queues for drinks at most crowded hours. And you can pee easily. I recommend to eat at 7pm, when there is no one in the queue. Various queues for food depending on when you want to eat.

I always felt ok with the train from/to Cais Do Sodre. It will be crowdy but you can breathe. I only suggest you to buy transport tickets in advance or in another station, because there are queues at the machines in Cais Do Sodre station. There's a queue at the festival entrance due to security controls, but it's usually not so long and with a band playing right on the entrance. During the night, if you want to come back to the station before 4 am, you have to walk for more then 1 km, because the shortest way is closed due to security reasons (it would be dangerous with many people inside).

Definetly check Bob Moses out if there is nothing big going on in that time slot. They will be at Coachella this year as well and have a song on Fifa 19 soundtrack too ?
