People assumed Eels would be playing Green Man as they're in Europe all month and have gaps that weekend, but there's also dates left out around EOTR and it's been nine years since they played.

Is Sharon van Etten a GM exclusive, or just unlikely to headline two festivals close together? GM line-up is perfectly fine, but I'd not unreasonably expect it to be trumped by EOTR. 

I can see Whitney, Aldous Harding, Car Seat Headrest showing up. Had hoped BSS would.

Someone playing that high up the GM bill isn't going to be at EOTR.

Very surprised by SVE - particularly as she isn't headlining Green Man. She would definitely have been headlining EOTR, so that together with never having played before should have been enough for Simon to bag her. Disappointing.

Fully expecting one of Courtney Barnett or Sleater Kinney now. Wouldn't have though Patti Smith would be in the running given she has played before. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE not Joanna Newsom AGAIN!

They nearly always pull one act out of left field that nobody thinks of beforehand, so may be a surprise in there.

Do you think King Gizzard would headline the woods? I think if they played they would have the Oh Sees/White Denim/Ty Segall slot from the last couple of years and headline the garden...

Why? Hasn’t played since first EOTR. Not played in UK for 2 years. Has a back catalogue to die for. Possibly his last tour for some time to come. Wears his heart on his sleeve and interacts with an audience in a way that so many headliners just fail to do! I get he’s not everyone’s cup of tea but why a boring booking?
