knew someone else on here must be rotating between coinmarketcap and the weather thread!

My current hobby is watching all the drama unfold on bitmex. There's something oddly compelling seeing multi-million dollar positions being liquidated in front of you.   The place is like a casino, only less regulated.

Think it's worth adding in some quick notes about the 06Z, which ran while I was out.

Pressure: As usual, plume builds in from early next week, with lower pressure going through Scotland on Friday, the lower pressure area then builds greatly on Sunday but through the north of the UK, with the south still in higher pressure. If that low drops a bit though it would be dangerous.

Precipitation: Now dry until rain hits at 3pm on Sunday. Clears overnight but more then around on Monday. Tuesday looks dry, on the edge of a rain band, with some torrential rain showing as hitting from 6pm on Wedesday night. Rain clears by 3am, and then bar the odd shower on Friday afternoon it's dry until the early hours of Sunday. Rain around on Sunday, but not heavy and dies out by 6pm.

Temperatures: Saturday 18-19, Sunday and Monday 22-23, Tuesday 26-27, Wednesday 25-26, Thursday 20-21, Friday 20, Saturday 19, Sunday 18

Not sure if this is of any relevance but here are the 2017 (Shepton Mallet) and 2016 (Pilton) forecasts on the BBC from back then. Both on the 17th June.

It's just come up on my phone that this time 2 years ago my boyfriend was having to put a fan down his pants to stay cool. So I don't think we're in for 2017 weather (if anyone wasn't sure already).

On a big positive, we were originally worried about an enormous deluge and thunder storms over the past two days. Seems like the site has fared pretty well compared to the forecasts, so I think we can call that another bullet dodged.

Good summary of the uncertainty.

Man, f*** that Omega Jetstream

Thanks for posting, it makes it much clearer, but I fear we're screwed either way:

If the low to the east edges in we're looking at cool, cloudy and showery, if the high pressure from the west edges in we're looking at humid with possibly vicious thunder storms and thundery showers

I'm pretty sure that was Archaos. They did all sorts of crazy shit cutting up cars and using chainsaws.
