Reading Festival first timer

Hi I am planning to go to Reading Festival this year, I am probably going solo (I am nervous about it) and I have a few questions. How is the Reading solo experience like ? , How long is the walk from Reading train station ? How much is food and drink at Reading ? and lastly do you have any tips or advice ..?

I haven't been solo myself but I usually see threads pop up on here closer to the festival of solo campers meeting up. Might be worth checking on here in April/May and starting a thread to see if anyone's in the same boat. Always seems to be a success.

How long is the walk from Reading train station ?

25 minutes. 

How much is food and drink at Reading ?

It depends on what you're buying. Most food is between £6-£15. Pints are £6 IIRC.

mostly answered above, but keep trying to sell it to your friends (or get better ones) assuming your in like year 11/sixth form or college, they'd be mad not to go.
