Stuff like Victorious, Boardmasters and APE are major festivals by definition so I wouldn’t say that but Glastonbury, TRNSMT and R+L, yes.

Yeah, I’m glad they got to do it once. That headline set in 2016 was fantastic, despite the tempest that was going on at Leeds throughout. It’d probably be in my top 5 headline performances I’ve seen in my decade of going to Leeds if I was to sit down and rank them*. 
 

*I’ve done exactly that. I’ll make a thread for it so as not to fill this one up with junk.

also, and this is me being really picky, if Aitch went up against Courteeners then the tent would be packeddddd, if he stays at the level he’s at I can’t see him being anywhere other than MS, swap him and Mabel

Can definitely see Megan Thee Stallion being booked. I know some eyebrows were raised when I said this a while ago, but she’s got a Beyoncé feature now. Not many artists can stay they’ve got that.

By next summer she will be even bigger.

Big RATM news....they've just put their whole US tour 2021 from June 3rd to August 20th.

Crucially, this rules them out of Download 2021 and leaves R+L 2021 (27th-29th Aug) very much on.

There's not any window for them to play any other UK and EU dates throughout the whole summer other than May.

I reckon they'll be announced for 2021 with the 2020 R+L official cancellation, alongside the whole rescheduling of their 2020 European tour.

depends on the reception certain acts got when announced and how tickets were selling i imagine, plus can't imagine it'll be easy to book some acts in similar slots due to their rising popularity such as Lewis Capaldi, AJ Tracey and Denzel Curry to name a few

Yh that’s what I think, they can’t keep them all in the same position, especially if one does a Billie Eilish or something, also what’s to say artists decide to not play live and focus on new music

 

I think they’ll try and keep most but some will just be wrong, could see Lewis and TDCC subbing rather than speical guest

In an ideal world:

LG/Gerry/Wolf Alice

RATM/BMTH/RTJ
