I admit that for all I was incredibly jealous of 2022's attendees getting a line-up that was very much to my tastes that knowing I wasn't going to be in 35 degree heat before the sun went down helped.
Pretty sure there was no camping there when I went in 2018. I haven't been since the move across the city but feel like people would've said if they'd camped there last year.
I guess we all have our ways of considering whether the tickets are worth the price or not.
The fact I spent several months waiting for a below face value spare to Muse at Milton Keynes Bowl even though they are my favourite band and as I live near MK, wouldn't have to spend cash on trains hints that for me, a £90-100 ticket price to that show was too much. Clearly, for a lot of people, that price was still worth the investment.
Says a lot you have to throw in minority shareholders like INEOS at Man U or the Reubens at Newcastle to pretend we're plumping up the numbers.
Feels like this has been coming for a while though, given the nature of English football as almost a de facto Super League by itself also sees a real snootiness to the idea of English coaches and some of the English rich deciding other sports or no sports are what to do with their gains.
This is all true...and it is a particular issue with Israel...but again again it does not make them immune from any accusation of war crimes or genocide.
