Airbed, Roll Mat, Self Inflating Mat, Camp Bed and so on

2015-17 we drove in, so I took airbed (double) fitted sheet, pillow and duvet Was luxury but took far too long to take in and the air bed deflated most nights. Last year I went abroad to festivals so I bought a Berghaus Peak Pro (normally £60 i got for £38 on a sale) worked like a treat, I wish it was a bit wider but it was way comfier than an air bed and it stayed up, also its 400 grams which weight wise is insane.

Going by train this year and very happy for the mat

took a couple of goes to figure out how to inflate cos I didnt read instructions but compressions to the tune of staying alive seemed to do the trick ?

Hahaha. Have an up vote for that! I will be belting it out during the festival (hopefully). Have you ever used a mummy sleeping bag? they look really comfy but I might get a little bit claustrophobic.

Anyone come across anything 'self-inflating' at a reasonable price? That's one of the items I'm still yet to purchase. Yes, I am too lazy to pump an airbed up.

I've gone for the one I linked above as its rolls up a lot smaller than the other models that are currently knocking about.  Was the deal clincher, especially since I'm coming in on coach this year to Glastonbury.

Was £125.

Can confirm this is exceedingly comfortable for £79.99 - currently out of stock online but you can setup an alert to be notified when restocking occurs (which seems to be happening relatively frequently).

I've a very comfy thermarest that I got nearly 20 years ago now which has paid for itself many times over at this stage! But, I picked up the vango one below for when my wife comes along and I give her the thermarest...for the price, this is not that far away and was super comfy and warm...(the thermarest one I have is £150+ and I don't think there is £120+ difference in quality if I'm honest)

Picked up one of these beauties for this year...not tried it yet though..

We looked at the double version of this this week (in the shop) looked and felt great

When we need to upgrade our Silentnight self inflating mattress that will be our choice

Nice one.

That top one is what I was thinking when I said budget 😄

There's a similar one by the same brand in my local Go Outdoors but it's a couple of cm's less. I'll inspect in there, then get the Amazon one if it fits the bill. For the sake of 6 nights, I just want to feel like I'm not on the floor - and ideally, for under £50.

After giving myself heatstroke last time lugging a self inflating mattress in, I'm going a lot lighter this year with a Klymit Static V insulated pad. I'm also teaming it with a wider sleeping bag this year so I can sleep on my side more comfortably. Fingers crossed!

My 2.5cm self inflatable now being a 0.5 self inflatable I have set my eyes on that one. Hopefully a good choice? (waiting to press the purchase button)
