Amazing how morality changes in that respect. I remember when Bill Wyman started dating Mandy Smith the newspapers ran the story with the headline gold digger. I'm pretty sure if it happened now that wouldn't be the case.

Thanks - that's the conclusion I've come to (in an extremely roundabout way - it's been a bit of a rollercoaster!).

It's a double-whammy of delight too - as I'm going to celebrate the innocent until proven guilty principle by dusting off all my old Jim Davidson live VHS tapes and watching them all back-to-back tonight.

Seeing that the offensive things he said were in front of paying audiences or on the telly and he admitted domestic violence against one of his wives too.  Plus he's a kipper who chipped off to avoid a tax bill.
