Two things really. She had more filler than i thought she'd have (i did think her other stage performance lacked depth as well but for obvious reasons back then) and i thought the vibe massively fed off her hysterical fans which will be missing from the Pyramid stage. I wouldn't be disappointed if i ended up watching her but i'd be considering other options first.
That is Slam Dunk, even with new bands coming through they would end up just booking them all the time. The pool overall is smaller or someone's phase happens. I never went to Slam Dunk for the hardcore bands to be honest and thus wouldn't miss whatever outbreak book which is another I'd never attend.
I ended up at Slam Dunk this yesr purely because of tickets for good so for for the 4/5 bands I saw it was worth on paper but overall not. Weather was terrible and Temple Newsum setup for Slam Dunk is awful compared to Hatfield.
I've got a got ticket for the kaiser indie day there hoping it's all different as it's right up my street but that might get sold for a London ticket with just kaisers, Coral and we are scientists. I'm missing two bands but it's much easier and cost effective than getting up to Leeds and stopping.
There´s a decent chance some of them will be there I think plus Girl In Red, Beth Gibbons and Kneecap who play in other Scandinavian festivals around the WOW dates. I´m personally hoping for QOTSA, Last Dinner Party, Beth Gibbons or anything Radiohead-related;)
