I'm loving the whole thing of deadline day before the end of the season. Clubs that sell to Europe in the coming weeks will probably be frustrated, but I'm really enjoying it.

100 times better. Just wish they ended it more than 24hours before the first game of the season - being able to have our fantasy football draft after the window closes but before the first game is still the stuff of dreams.

I doubt anyone else is interested, but I know absolutely zilch about this Swedish defender we've just signed. I'm also not really sure where he fits in? Lejeune/Schar/Lascalles have all been good for us (when fit in Lejeune's case), and we've got a bunch of other ones that can be a 4th/5th option. It's not like we've managed to get rid of Clark yet.

Im really surprised there hasnt been any talk of someone being interested in Shar, was very impressed by him and fits the bill for Leicester as a Maguire replacement. Not that I'm trying to lose you players!

In other ex-newcastle player news, Steven Taylor has been made captain  of my local team now in his second season here. He managed a respectable 22 games last season.

It's just an odd signing. We have loads of CBs, yet I reckon we're still a striker and centre midfielder light. I'm worried it's a thing of preparing to sell Schar or Lascalles.

Impressive of Steven Taylor to manage that many. I don't think he pulled off that in his last 3 seasons here total! Always liked him though, whenever he was fit he gave his all. Must have blocked at least a dozen balls with his face.
