Pete Holland
Hi, My wife and I are heading to Glastonbury this year for the first time. We don’t like electronic/ dance music much and would like to know which stages / areas cater best for anything other than electronic on an evening/ night/ early hours. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks Pete
guypjfreak
. No offence but if you have looked at the line up and checked out a few of these threads you might know that although there is a dance field there's also LOADS AND LOADS AND LOADS of other places that have different styles of music.. I promise you will not be lacking in other stuff to see and do and music you will like.. Just take it easy, explore the little field's and you'll find some great stuff just stay away from the SE corner and Arcadia.. Peace and tea
Dave_c
There is lots on entertainment in the evening outside of the SE corner, Silver Hayes and Arcadia, just have a wander and you will find plenty of hidden gems. However, musical taste aside, you have to pay a visit to the SE corner and to Arcadia, if anything for the visual treat that it is. Go early in the evening if there is nobody on the main stages you want to see as it will be less busy and easier to get in and out Have a great festival, it will blow your mind! Homer
Quite a few threads with advice on this, might be worth a search. I think Williams Green, The Park (Crows Nest particularly) and the silent disco in the dance village. Also, the truth stage in the south east corner. You really need to go to the SEC, and Arcadia, at least once each. Fatboy Slim on Arcadia on Sat night might be a good bet for you.
