I'm waaay past 35 and bloody love them! Have seen them live 6 times since 2019 and they were brilliant every single time. I was in the pit at Reading 2019 and that remains one of my favourite gigs ever.
I also flew to Amsterdam in March this year to see the very last show of their tour - it would be amazing if their very next show was headlining Glasto 2025 - I would be in the pit for sure.
I'm 41 and have honestly never heard them mentioned by anyone i know, and I'm based just down the road from where they are from in South Manchester.
Blossoms are similar in that regard, indie pop that it seems older generation just don't bother with.
We like the young bands to have some spunk - all my pals love Amyl and the Sniffers.
I had literally just left WH bar 5 minutes before they came on stage unnanounced. Waking up the next day to my friends saying I missed Ezra Collective and it was an all timer was a real kick in the teeth.
As far as others go... on the walk from The Last Dinner Party to Kasabian this year I happened upon Arlo Parks at BBC Introducing, to a pretty small crowd. I guess they did a great job keeping that a secret. Also heard Loyle Carner's rabbit hole set on Friday night in 2022, but there was no chance I was getting in
