Still in Sweden, not flying to Bristol this time as have a Thurs coach ticket to Liverpool. Flight to Manchester booked for the Wednesday morning. Already stressing I should probably go on Tuesday just in case of delays/cancellations

Does anyone know if there ever are any amazing shuttle deals ever popping up? Or is it always expensive, which is why I always ferry to the UK?

Those coaches are different then what they offer afterwards though right? Cause 2 years ago when I got coach fare one way from Bath it only had 2 departure times. 9 and 11 iirc. Unless because I didnt select return its all the offered.

Fellow NYer! We’ve used Bath as our city to hang out in in the days before and after the festival for 3 festivals now and will again next year. Close to the festival, has camping stores and large grocery stores, no need for a car, direct train from London, OK restaurants, very pretty, and has some lovely fancy hotels for post-festival recovery before the plane home.

 

Our first year we did it because we had coach tickets from Bath, but this year we all struck out in the coach and all got general but we’re launching from Bath regardless cause it’s the best choice.

for us in 2015, we did select return seats (even though in the end we didn't use them), our coach time from Bath was something like 0530 (can't remember exactly now - but it was early), in the end the coach was a good 30 mins late arriving but still nice and early. I don't remember the second coach time but have a feeling in was much later in the day, maybe even after noon as i do remember saying something about missing quite a bit of the day if we had been allocated that one. I'm sure the times change every year, we may have just been lucky on the one occasion we used the coach.

Hoping for the early departure as well.  I'm always keen to camp in Big Ground and i'm afraid that with a later coach that might not be possible.

Love that there's more than one new yorker on this forum.  I'm in Brooklyn - Clinton Hill to be specific, where are you? 

I haven't been to Bath since 2015, so I'm looking forward to getting to hang there again.  We might have to meet for pints!

Aye I’m 2.3 miles ne of you, also in Brooklyn. Meeting in Bath instead of Brooklyn sounds quite funny and appropriate!

 

I’ve had coach tickets from Bath twice, got them both times in the first coach sale, and both times been assigned the early bus. I get the impression the bus times are assigned based on when you get the tickets, so resale people likely on the later buses, people in the first half of the initial coach sale very likely on early buses. But I’m not 100% positive that’s true at all. 

 

But neither early time was that early - it was more like an 8AM departure both times (2022 & 2023).

We got tickets within 3 minutes the time we got the coach from Bath and were on the early coach too.
