This is interesting. Strange thing to retweet if they've actually read the article. Might've just been clumsy but it does give me a bit of hope re The Strokes.

Any possibility of Stevie Nicks? She is doing a couple of other festivals, I believe. Could be a shot in the dark at this stage, but may explain price increase perhaps.

RIGHT this place turned into speculation city based off of two letters we were given 😂 MC love a tease, so do we know when the names will drop?? I think we all said Thursday at first but now it seems a bit much to wait TWO more days?? Gotta be tomorrow

are playing Bilbao BK Festival and Lisbon NOS Alive Festival the same weekend. 

These three festivals share most of the bands .....

Yeah, but they also say that Red Hot Chili Peppers is unlikely because their final date is on June 20th. So... no that many possible clues in that article.

As for the undercard, All Time Low is touring Europe in June with 5SOS and they also play Reading/Leeds so I think they could be playing Mad Cool. Maybe Wallows... The Pretty Reckless...

We need to remember that there is a difference between popularity and the ability of a specific act to shift tickets.

Liam Gallagher is shifting tickets in massive numbers in the UK, but it doesnt mean that he gets a lot of radio airplay or listeners on Spotify.

Foals are getting more mainstream radio airplay but can shift a lot less tickets compare to Liam in the U.K., espically up north and in Scotland.

They didn't 'demote' themselves they went on a more intimate tour at locations bigger bands wouldn't normally play. Foo Fighters didn't demote themselves to theatres when they went on an acoustic tour did they.

Mumford and Sons are pretty much inactive in 2020. They have like 2 dates lined up. Really not sure it'll be them
