I think what's most disappointing for me is that none of them are the big name.
BMTH we all agreed they were about big 3 headliner size, but should be propped up by 2 other bigger name acts as they don't have festival ticket selling status yet.
Chappel Roan when we first heard her name, we all settled into how she would make a perfect 2nd headliner ala Lana Del Rey, and we all thought her into BMTH or Foos or Muse would be most pertinent.
The second Travis Scott was suggested by @marinotarino54 we all groaned and said it must be bullshit because its a terribly off-course booking. Possibly the most hated rapper in the world right now after his diabolical Astroworld catastrophe. Hasn't had a hit since before covid, is completely unrelevant and just stands on stage hyping up his tracks played by a DJ (and I say that as somebody that still enjoys TS).
Hopefully. I'm in Thailand during Leeds fest and was gutted that i'd have to miss her. I imagine she will be even more popular by June, unless she keeps pissing off her fans.
Make Fridays the alt rock night. BMTH as Friday headliner in 2026? Obviously, only playing the old stuff with death growls and screaming.
Be worth it to see the comments from those who don’t like or know QOTSA.
Itd be a bit sh*tty of Oasis to announce a reunion, sell a billion tickets for it, explicitly say theyre not doing festivals, and then their first set together being on a televised festival stage. with a crowd that would be at best 50% thrilled, and 50% walking off to see something else. Cant see it, it knacks up their own gigs.
