Hey everyone! My name's Lieselot and I'm a journalism student from Brussels writing an article around the new ticketing system of Glastonbury festival. I am still looking for two people who could help me with my work and who could answer a few of my questions. I'm looking for someone who got their ticket secured for this year's edition and I'm also looking for someone who experienced frustrations during the booking process and maybe failed at getting a ticket. Help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!
I love going in at 8 am and seeing the pretty much empty fields then going back in a couple of hours later and seeing the rate at which the place fills. Always astounding.
I answered for Tramlines which is a city festival over 3 days. A large proportion of the visitors are from the local area. There is no official parking, but the public transport provisions are patchy. E.g. can easily get there by bus, but no provision for late buses afterwards, and the trams only serve part of the city. It is my biggest frustration with this festival, other than occasional ambivalence towards the lineup 😂
