Feels like that would've been a high-end ticket price for the time, no?
Think it was about £12 when my parents saw the Rolling Stones at Wembley at some point in the early 80s.
The 1975 - dull, Neil Young - fantastic but not a party, so no as a headliner, O Rod - again not a party, so no.
Loyle Carner - heard him live- dull, Charli - will be a party, so possible yes depending on who’s on elsewhere
Very good points.
The thing is with the EDM on show, they don't have a clutch of big names in edm. If that's your bag, what do you choose. Sziget, Untold, Tomorrowlands or creamfields? Sziget at the bottom I'd say.
Same with the non edm music, is there enough to sway from the likes of Roskilde, wetchter, opener, nos alive etc.
You'd think so but tbf Muse's 2023 show at the Bowl was a Sunday standalone event. So it's not that unheard of.
Guess it depends on whose around and is ok doing Milton Keynes instead of London.
They do have a good thing going on. Saw them on Halloween and they were great, and am tempted to go see them again in March, even despite it likely being a similar set.
