Been thinking about the timings. Don't one of the online magazines (Line of Best Fit or Loud and Quiet) which have something to do with the festival usually post a clashfinder?

Don't just ping pong between stages. Allow yourself to get lost in the site (ideally after a couple of drinks). There is a lot of effort put into making little corners part of the experience. 

Go see someone talk at the literature tent. The speakers tend to be entertaining and erudite. 

Now it is upon us I'm very jealous not to be going. Enjoy!

At least one of the days, just relax at the early sessions at the Garden Stage. Sit down and do not move. Let it spill over you as you recover from the previous night.

Big blankets for the evening. Although it's a really dry site generally, once the sun goes the temperature drops like fk. Coats after sundown, expect cold, cold nights! 

The woods are beautiful after dark - take a wander through from the lefthand exits (as if facing the Garden stage). Expect all sorts to be going on at the Piano stage in the small hours!

Perhaps a silly question but can we just show our tickets on our phones? First year I'll be taking a smartphone to a festival and don't have access to a printer at the minute.

Saw her for a bit at Green Man at midday Saturday, was walking past in the pissing rain maniacally searching for a bacon roll; had to stop and listen for a while - excellent.

I think it states at the top of the ticket you can do this

Yes, but I'd make sure you have it downloaded as there's no guarantees on getting a signal anywhere on site.  Ditto the Covid vax or LFT proof.

In 2018 they released them really early, I think it was about a week in to August.

we always toast the tents with vodka in metal shot glasses as soon as the tents are up. 'To the weekend, and all who sail in her'. Wallop back 50g of the finest Russian vodka and that's when the festivals officially begun.
